A few more details for you...

Printing

We always aim to use the most cost effective printing technique for your job, but we don't recommend using the web's 'megadeal' companies. Their results are often substandard. They're cheap for a reason right! We tend to use www.rcs.plc.uk for the majority of our printing - good colour reproduction, high quality paper stocks and reliable service and delivery. Also, if you order your RCS printing though us we can pass on a 30% discount on their prices.

Allow 7 working days from the sign off of the final artwork to the delivery of printed material. Printing costs are payable directly to the printing company who will invoice you with delivery of the product.

Unless specified, delivery charges apply for printed material.

Your printing maybe exempt from VAT

Those nice people at HM Customs and Excise give VAT exemption for printing certain items. This generally includes all books, booklets, leaflets and brochures. If you want to find out more you can read full documentation here

Stock imagery

Any stock images used for your project will be charged in addition to your quote. We use www.istockphoto.com exclusively to provide stock images and these generally cost between £6 and £18.  If you need to know the exact costs of stock images for your job please let us know before the design is signed off.  Once you sign off the final design for your project any stock images used will be purchased from istockphoto and these costs will be added to your final invoice.

Types of website

There are two main approaches when it comes to designing and programming a website:-

A static site is cost effective but can only modified and updated in the future by a programmer with the necessary skills (normally with PHP, HTML, Javascript and CSS experience). This type of site is ideal if you think that the content on your site will only need updating periodically (a couple of times year).

A content managed site is more expensive but allows you to login with a password in order to add news, events and to edit existing text and images. Certain web features (such as blogs, video, MP3s and news pages) can only be handled properly within a content managed site. This type of site is ideal if you think you’ll need to add and edit material on a regular basis.

Domain names and web hosting

We can also provide hosting for your website on a shared server (physically based the UK). PHP 4 (or 5), Unlimited MySQL databases, Unlimited storage and bandwidth with an online control panel for administration of domains, webspace and POP3 email.

Logos and branding

Logos are supplied as hi-res jpegs, Windows Metafiles (.wmf) and in PDF format.

Once you have the files for your logo you have the worldwide rights to use, duplicate and distribute this logo in any way you need to for the promotion of your company. This excludes reselling the logo or design to a third party.

Prices

It rarely happens, but if there are price increases outside of our control we will notify you before going to print.

Cancellations

Once you agree to any quoted work being started, if for whatever reason you cancel the work before completion then you will still be liable for any design fees (or part thereof) and also any expenses incurred.

All prices on your quote include postage costs and VAT if applicable

These caught our eye

We love Pinterest.  It's a superb way to share ideas, get some fresh inspiration, or if you feel like it, to just immerse yourself in the wonders of this world and in other people's creativity.  Here are some of our favourite photographs and designs that have inspired us recently.
